Sorry Tim, but afraid so.

Since the Billion had its firmware upgraded, everything has been good since then.

Some possible differences between your setup and mine:
– my Kindle typically has WiFi turned off – I basically only turn it on when I have a book waiting for download
– my Kindle (as I mentioned in the writeup) is running a beta firmware – an early failed attempt to fix the original problem. Perhaps there was something in there that helps? My current version is 3.02 if that helps (although I understand there is a new version slowly rolling out now).

A quick question.

After you updated firmware, were all your problems solved? I ask because I find that I still need to reset my router every couple of days so that my kindle3 can access the wifi. I think when I have taken the kindle out the house, it seems to not reconnect to my wireless network.

Any thoughts would be great…

making a hybrid car in todays world is a must because of increasing global warming and extreme pollution. now its time to make a greener and more cleaner planet. Its good to see that big companies like Honda and Prius are giving top priority to making environmental friendly cars. Hats off and good work from all. We should encourage them by buying such cars as its not only good for our planet but also economical to us.

Great review – the cent-a-meter certainly beat everyone else to market by a couple of years didn’t they!?

Since you wrote this review there are now a few competing units on the market. We think the EnviR is the best available (which is why we stock it). A couple of improvements over the cent-a-meter include: more info on the screen, much longer battery life at the transmitter, and compatible with Google PowerMeter and a range of other software solutions.

What about 100% electric? You can actually build your own electric car kit much cheaper. There are no emmisions, and you can plug in every evening to recharge.
